考研英语中AS的处理流程：

第一步：判断词性；介词，副词，连词，代词； （如何判断？）

第二步：确定As 的含义；

一、介词: (名词前) 

(1) 像；如同:

They were all dressed as clowns. 

他们都打扮成小丑。 

The bomb was disguised as a package. 

炸弹伪装成一个包裹。

 (2) 作为；当做；是

Treat me as a friend. 

要把我当作朋友。 

I respect him as a doctor. 

我尊敬他这个医生。 

You can use that glass as a vase. 

你可以把那个玻璃杯当作花瓶用。 

考研中常考词： 

See A as B 

= view A as B

= treat A as B

= perceive A as B

= portray A as B

= take A as B

=认为A是B；

elect A as B

=选择A作为B；

而且这些搭配常写成这样：

see A as B 

=See as B A  (其他几个动词也是一样的）

例句:

I view this match  as an opportunity. 

=I view as an opportunity this match. 

二、副词：（形容词前）

（1）(比较时用)像…一样,如同:

You're as (副词) tall as（介词）your father. 

你和你父亲一样高。 

He was as white as a sheet. 

他面无血色。 

She doesn't play as well as her sister. 

她演奏得不如她姐姐。 

I haven't known him as long as you (= as you have known him).

我认识他的时间没有你长。 

He doesn't earn as much as me. 

他挣的钱比我少。  

We'd like it as soon as possible. 

我们希望越快越好。 

 (2) (指事情以同样的方式发生)和…一样:

As always, he said little. 

他和平时一样,少言寡语。

三、连词+状语从句（主干完整的句子）

1. 当…时；随着:

As she grew older, she gained confidence. 

随着年龄的增长她的信心增强了。 

2.  照…方式:

Leave the papers as they are. 

别去动那些文件。 

3.  因为；由于:

As you were out, I left a message. 

你不在,所以我留了一张字条儿。 

As inflation rates rises, the central bank raises interests’ rate. 

4. 尽管；虽然；即使（语序）（表语置于句首；动词置于句首）

Happy as they were, there was something missing. 

尽管他们很快乐,但总缺少点什么。 

Try as he might (= however hard he tried), he couldn't open the door.

他想尽了办法也没能打开门。

Simple as the picture is, the symbolic meaning behind it is as deep as ocean. 

Simple as the chart is, the symbolic meaning behind it is as deep as ocean.

四、代词 (不翻译) （正如） 引导定语从句（不完整的句子）

一定要确定As的指代对象：

As you know, Peppa is leaving soon. 

Know 需要宾语，as 充当宾语！as 指代什么？

Peppa is leaving soon 

As you know，Peppa is leaving soon

As we all know, Kevin is handsome.

(众所周知)

你是知道的,佩奇马上要离开了。 

As is shown above,  there is a young tree in the sunshine

Is 需要主语，as 充当主语，as 指代什么？

如上所示，阳光下有一颗小树。

The father doesn't think that this job is not suitable for the son, as the mother believes. 

记住这里的as只能指代观点本身（加黑部分）：

The father doesn't think that this job is not suitable for the son, as the mother believes. 

所以还原为两个句子就是：

The father doesn't  think that this job is not suitable for the son.

The mother believes that this job is not suitable for the son.
