The pie chart gives information about the trend of electronic payment in China during the year of 2012 to 2017. As we can see in the chart, the number of electronic payments in 2012 were about 120billion, while it increased dramatically in the next 5 years, reaching nearly 400billion in 2017. Likewise, the sum of electronic payments grew quickly from around 40billion yuan in 2012 to 140billion in 2017. 　　Some driving factors that contribute to the above-mentioned changes may be summarized as follows. First and foremost, there is no doubt that the overwhelming growth of electronic payment has much to do with the development of electronic technology. Second, electronic payment has many advantages that cash payment cannot match, such as convenience, efficiency and popularity. Last but not least, although the above-mentioned reasons are suggestive, it does not mean that we can overlook the consideration of the government’s polities to promote electronic payment. 　　In my opinion, it is predicted that the present popularity of electronic payment will continue for quite a while in the forthcoming years.
